The ISP is the Professional Body for Sales People. We promote and celebrate the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in sales.
We work with sales leaders, HR, L&D and Sales Enablement leads at companies who want to reinforce the professionalism of their sales operations. We help them to attract, develop and retain top sales talent, a critical factor in achieving significant, sustainable and profitable sales growth. Our Sales Capability Assessment tool allows employers to identify where the strengths and development opportunities lie within their sales team at both a corporate and individual level. This facilitates the creation of targeted and tailored learning journeys to optimise the return on investment on their training spend.
We work with an extensive network of approved training organisations including private training companies, educational establishments and in-company L&D functions to endorse or accredit training programmes. We are an Ofqual regulated awarding body and the pre-eminent end point assessor for sales apprenticeships. Our qualification framework allows learners to achieve professional qualifications in sales from level 2 up to level 6 and enables providers to offer credible independent validation of their programmes. We are currently developing a unitised approach to our framework which will allow for smaller units of learning to be certificated and to build up, over time, into full qualifications.
We Offer numerous opportunities for self-directed learning for sales people who are committed to their careers as sales professionals through our extensive programme of webinars and live events as well as our Continuous Professional Development platform which features hundreds of hours of high quality content for sales people at every stage of their career.
Our Fair Ethics programme is built to allow members to demonstrate their understanding of and commitment to the highest standards of ethical conduct in sales. Those who pass the on-line evaluation are entered onto the ISPs register of ethical sales professionals. When 75% of an employers’ sales force have passed, the employer is recognised with an ISP Investor in Sales award.
